Bollywood's latest Love offering 'Aashiqui 2' starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, which opened on April 26, has managed to bag Rs 5.75 crores at the box office. Despite facing stiff competition from the ongoing cricket season and the Robert Downey Jr starrer 'Iron Man 3' the film has made a decent opening business at the domestic box office. The trade pundits predict that the film could make a total of Rs 15 crores in its first week. The film has been released in 1100 screens and trade gurus are shocked that the film got a mediocre opening, as the film doesn't really have big Bollywood stars to boast about.
