Shuddh Desi Romance is an upcoming romantic-comedy flick, directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film features young guns of Bollywood; Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. The makers have launched its first teaser, introducing Raghu (Sushant), admitting his strong liking to his crush. And, Parineeti Chopra’s character, a bathroom smoker, Gayatri, who is widely open about her past affairs.

The film develops a situation of a love triangle, presenting the newbie Vaani Kapoor in a modern avatar. The teaser is two-minutes and 28 seconds long, showcasing modern age love and how the young generation differs from the definition of relationships by having them in their own daring and bold way. The film is slated to release on September 13. The trailer has reflected that the makers have tried to create a very light-hearted yet an edgy film.
