Pakistani starlet Veena Malik and Bollywood wannabe Ashmit Patel, who set the house on fire with their overt PDA (Public Display of Affection) on Bigg Boss Season 4, will try to rekindle the heat when they return together in their upcoming film, Real Life of Super Model, based on the lives of people in the modelling business. "The chemistry between us was evident on Bigg Boss and we wanted to come together in films. I have an emotional connect with Ashmit, which was evident on the show," said Veena. Veena plays a model in the film, directed by Navin Batra. Ashmit and Veena, during their visit to India Today Group Mediaplex, insisted their personal chemistry would bring alive the film.
"I lost 15 pounds to get a bikini body for the film. I do not believe in size zero, but this character required me to shed weight and look svelte. "I reduced my weight from 57 to 43 kg to fit into the look of a chic model," said Veena. "The film is inspired by real-life characters in the advertising world. It has drawn reference from the life of a prominent photographer and liquor baron involved with the modeling world," said Ashmit, who plays a hotshot photographer popular for his sensuous beach photography. "There are several sub plots and the story is about how the lives of the characters change when they visit Fiji for a shoot," he added. The film also features newcomer Vishaka, who plays a model.
