Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt's eldest daughter Trishala says she will not be following the footsteps of other star kids and hence has no plans of joining Bollywood at all. Trishala is Sanjay Dutt's daughter form his first marriage to actress Richa Sharma, who died due to brain tumour in 1996.

Instead Trishala, who lives in the US with her maternal grandparents, intends to make a name in the fashion industry. In a reply to a fans query on Twitter that when will she be seen on the Silver screen, Trishala replied: "Won't be coming into Bollywood. I'm launching my own Hair Extension Line and than working on a perfume and cologne :) xoxo T." It seems like, unlike many Bollywood celebs including her father Sanjay Dutt (son of actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis), Trishala will not be taking forward the family legacy in the B-town.

Earlier there were reports that Trishala wanted to join Bollywood. But Sanjay Dutt's 25-year-old daughter had posted on her blog that she was glad she changed her mind about joining Bollywood, "very stupid stubborn decision of mine but I'm glad I don't want to be apart of it anymore, I was young and wasn't thinking with my head, I was rebelling against a lot of things and found out who I really am and what I want later on," she had blogged in June this year. Trishala's 'Dream Tresses Hair Extensions' will be launched by the end of December 2013 beginning of January 2014. Earlier this year, Sanjay Dutt was sentenced to three-and-half years of jail term in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. Sanjay Dutt is currently out on parole for health reasons. Trishala, who was not in India when the actor surrendered before the TADA court reasoned on her blog that it was because her father did not wish for her to be there at that time.
