Bollywood star Salman Khan to invest in IPL team?

Bollywood actor Salman Khan's brother Sohail Khan already owns a cricket team Mumbai Heroes which plays in Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). And now according to media reports Salman might end up owning a stake in an Indian Premiere League (IPL) team. Salman was recently present at a marathon organized by BJ Wadia hospital for under priviledged children. Wadia group scion Ness Wadia was also present at the event and it is believed that Salman enquired about the IPL from Ness.

Ness owns the team Kings XI Punjab along with former girlfriend Preity Zinta. According to sources, "There is no clear indication that he will pick up a stake in an IPL team his interest in it has only grown with time. He has been making inquiries with Ness. In fact, he has also been asking his other friends about the same. The actor is trying to work out how he can get a piece of the IPL pie as he loves cricket and has a lot of cricketer friends." Bollywood stars have now for long invested their time and money in various teams of the IPL. Salman's friend turned foe Shah Rukh Khan along with Juhi Chawla and husband Jai Mehta are the co-owners of Kolkata Knight Riders. Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are the co-owners of Rajasthan Royals. Let's see if like his other colleagues, Salman too gets involved and joins IPL's Bollywood bandwagon.
