That Girl In Yellow Boots is for a mature audience Director Anurag Kashyap admits that his latest movie That Girl In Yellow Boots is for a mature audience. But he is very upset with the organizers of the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), who denied to screen it. The irked director is sarcastic about who in the middle-east will decide the viewers' maturity.

That Girl In Yellow Boots has received strong reactions at film festivals in various countries. Due to its adult content, Kalki Koechlin starrer film has not got permission to release in the Middle-East. Talking to the Mid Day, Anurag Kashyap confirmed that his movie was rejected by the DIFF organizers.

But he says that some countries are pretty conservative when it comes to art and cinema. "TGIYB is for a mature audience. I don't know who in the middle-east decides whether the viewers are mature enough to watch the film or not, but I guess it's a moralistic stand," Anurag told to the Mid Day.

However, That Girl In Yellow Boots is all about a young girl Ruth, who comes to the city in search of her father, but is soon faced with moralistic questions when she takes up a job as a masseuse to make ends meet. The movie has been given with an A-certificate by the Censor Board in India
