Anil Kapoor, who has partnered with Freedom Project to expose the horrors of modern-day slavery and to push for change, launched a documentary based on human trafficking. The half-an-hour documentary titled `Trapped by Tradition` brings into light trafficking in Bharatpur in Rajasthan.

"The menace of human trafficking persists beyond imagination. Human trafficking is the largest illegal activity after illegal drugs and arms. I am trying to address the issue by being part of it," the actor told reporters here.

"Children are affected more. There is no secret that even today children are trafficked to beg, work in restaurants and as servants. Besides, girls are trafficked into sex trade... The need of the hour is to educate people and create awareness," he said.
