Ameesha Patel, who was last seen in Chatur Singh two stars, has signed a new movie opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh titled Shortcut Romeo.

It is yet another remake of a Tamil movie Thiruttu Payale. Shortcut Romeo will be directed by Susi Ganesan who is the director of the original movie. Ganesan is known to make films based on real life incidents and this movie too will have some realistic element in it. Thiruttu Payale did good business at the box office in 2006 and since remakes are doing well in Hindi film industry this film might work well too.
