A three-and-half minute video trailer of Poonam Pandey drying herself after a shower and applying make-up led to her website crashing, truly signifying the niche she has created for herself for her internet fan base even as major television and film roles still elude the celebrity model.

The trailer named The Mirror Act shows Pandey coming out of the bathroom in a towel, patting herself dry, applying lotion in slow motion and moving on to the mirror facing the webcam to apply make-up. She blows a kiss presumably to her audience as she works on make-up brushes and power.

Five days ago she had posted a raunchy and provocative video of her bathing in a two piece bikini that was an instant hit on the internet. The video that bordered on soft porn was posted on her website http://www.poonampandey.co.in. Her website remained inaccessible for a large part of the day.

A trailer "The Bedroom Secrets" dedicated to the Men in Blue was banned by YouTube. 'Poonam Pandey MMS' was trending since October 17 after her bath video in a low slung white bikini standing inside a bath tub, posing with a hand shower went viral. YouTube flagged the video as age-restricted in accordance with its community guidelines.

Pandey recently launched her website where she promised to post more videos for fans. She had promised to strip if Team India won the World Cup and didn't live up it. So, to motivate the struggling Men in Blue in England Pandey posted a partially nude picture on Twitter building they hype around it for days with posts like - "Coming Soon 'Motivational Surprise'".

Pandey is one of India's new breed of celebrities who are famous for being famous not unlike the Kim Kardashians of the US. For a large section of India's newly-wired young urban population, Pandey has emerged as an internet sex symbol waiting for a break in films and television. There was much speculation recently that she will be part of the Bigg Boss 5 cast that ultimately did not materialize.
