Their wedding date is the most speculated topic in Bollywood, but actors and real life couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor refuse to divulge any details. The suspense may however come to an end this Valentine month as the grapevine has it that the wedding may begin sooner than expected.

The latest buzz doing the rounds suggests that the couple is all set to get engaged on 10th of February, next week. It is also the day that Bebo’s upcoming film with actor Imran Khan will release in theatres. Reports earlier had Saif and Kareena hinting at a wedding post the release of Saif’s home production Agent Vinod on 23rd March.

Says a source close to the couple, “Both Saif and Bebo have been going steady for several years and are now ready to take that relationship to another level with a wedding. And the first step towards the grand wedding may take off with an engagement on 10th February. They have deliberately avoided having their engagement on Valentine’s Day, instead they have planned the event around the day. Though Saif is extremely busy with post production work of Agent Vinod and Kareena travelling for the film promotion of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, they are quite excited about the engagement.”

Giving more details about the engagement, the source said that the venue for the engagement is yet to be finalised and could take place either at the couple’s Mumbai residence followed by a bash at a five-star hotel or in Saif’s Delhi house. “Wherever it happens, the engagement is going to be a big event. Both their family members are gearing up for a big celebration and are busy with the preparations around the ring ceremony. Bebo is currently in London along with Karisma, but has ensured that all her close friends be there for the special day in her life. She maymay wear an ethnic outfit designed by (fashion designer) Vikram Phadnis,” the source adds.
