While Deepika Padukone has made it clear that she will not be a part of Race 2 as the producer has wasted her call sheet last year, producer Ramesh Taurani is set on having her play the female lead.

Ramesh has filed a complaint at the actors’ association in Mumbai. Replying to this complaint,

Deepika said that her dates have been wasted by the producer several times before and she has no intention of starring in Race.

The actress, however, maintained that she has due respects for the producers but cant do anything about the crisis now.
