Kareena Kapoor has no doubt been the reigning queen in Bollywood for some time now. Bebo has delivered consecutive hits in the past - 3 Idiots, Golmaal, Bodyguard and Ra.One to name a few. In fact, Kareena's last release opposite Imran Khan – Ek Mein Aur Ekk Tu has also been an average hit at the box office. Though Kareena Kapoor is the number one star in Bollywood as of today, she is receiving tough competition from three other actresses – Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.

Vidya Balan has received rave reviews for her performance in No One Killed Jessica and The Dirty Picture. In fact, she even has Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani which again will give her immense opportunity to shine since Kahaani is a female centric film. Vidya also has Ferrari Ki Sawaari and Chenab Gandhi in the making.

Though Vidya is receiving a lot of applause for her acting, Priyanka Chopra hasn't been too far behind either. Her performance in 7 Khoon Maaf, Kaminey and Dostana has been commendable. Priyanka's last release, Agneepath is being touted as the biggest hit in Bollywood in 2012. Priyanka Chopra also has Teri Meri Kahaani, Barfee and Krrish 3 in her kitty.

Katrina Kaif, with her glamorous and innocent looks is climbing up the popularity chart at a very fast pace. Katrina has given hit films like Namastey London, New York, Raajneeti and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Kat's forthcoming films seem very promising as well. Katrina is presently working on Yash Chopra's Dhoom 3, Ek Tha Tiger opposite Salman Khan and Karan Johar's Dostana 2.

Well, well...what does that leave Kareena Kapoor with? Kareena, as we all know, is a terrific actress. That's probably why she survived to stay in Bollywood in spite of consecutive flops that she had delivered in the past. Apart from Agent Vinod opposite beau Saif Ali Khan and Talaash opposite Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor also has Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. It's being said that the film will see her give one of her best performances till date. Whoever wins in the battle of films, let's just hope that we as audiences get to see the best of Bollywood!
