Salman Khan has apparently bagged a Rs 7-crore deal to become the face of a food supplement. Cricketer Yuvraj Singh initially endorsed the brand and clearly Salman is being paid more than double of what Yuvi was getting. A source said, "There is no doubt that Salman has charged a bomb for this brand. They were very keen on bringing him on board. It was a lucrative deal."

Salman who otherwise charges between Rs 3-4 crore per endorsement deal (for a year) suddenly upped his rates for this one. The source added, "His market value is bigger than any other star at this point. However a lot of family brands do not prefer Salman because of his past reputation. Salman too does not really invest too much time and energy into endorsements. However, a food supplement goes perfectly with his image and personality."
