I’ll have two films with home banner every year: Emraan HashmiEmraan Hashmi’s association with the Bhatts started in 2003 with Footpath. But off late, he’s been delivering more hits outside the banner, giving rise to speculations that he’s moving out of the family camp. The actor laughs off the buzz, saying, “You’re making it sound like it’s a marriage and I’m having an affair. Vishesh Films is my family company, and every year I’m going to have at least two films with them. And when I sign outside movies, they’re happy for me.”

He admits that their movies together work well because they share a passion for the same kind of cinema. “The Bhatts have always believed in making movies that appeal to the masses and have not necessarily adhered to the traditional Bollywood genre,” reasons the actor who just wrapped up the late Shamin Desai’s Rush. “I was blown away by Shamin’s script. It’s sad he’s no longer with us, but his wife Priyanka is doing her best.”

Rush, which was earlier titled Raftaar, co-stars Neha Dhupia and Sagarika Ghatge. That apart, Emraan’s excited about the upcoming Ghanchakkar with Vidya Balan. “It’s a witty, tongue-in-cheek comedy,” he says, equally excited about Raaz 3. “I’ve never been paired with Bipasha before but she’s a great actress. I remember how hard she worked on Raaz, when I was assisting Vikram Bhatt.”

If rumours are to be believed, the serial kisser has told the producer he won’t lock lips in these movies. “Why would I do that?” Emraan retorts. “ My movies are about romance and eroticism. If they require a kiss, I’ll do it.  What I don’t understand is that even when I’m not locking lips, I’m still dubbed a serial kisser.”
