Filmmaker Karan Johar will celebrate his 40th birthday on May 25. The party is reportedly themed as Naughty @40 and it will be full of naughty surprises for Karan. Talking about his birthday, Karan Johar shares an incident from his childhood days, to a leading daily. Karan Johar says, "It was a friend's birthday and I remember my mom made me wear this Superman costume. I happily and excitedly went feeling proud."

Karan Johar further added, "It wasn't a theme party! While others were in casual clothes, I was the only one in this Superman costume with that red underwear out!" This incident left Karan Johar so embarrassed that he stopped attending parties for the next two years. "I did not know how to react! All my friends were in casual wear and I was the only one in this bizarre costume!" Ohhh ...now we know why Karan Johar does not want to experiment with his clothes. Well, boring formals are always better than weird costumes!!
