Grapevine has it that Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha, who recently played Akshay Kumar's romantic interest in Joker, will play a Bengali damsel in Tigmanshu Dhulia's Bullet Raja, according to Mumbai Mirror. She has worked opposite Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar in Dabangg and Rowdy Rathore. As per reports, the actor has been signed opposite Saif Ali Khan in Bullet Raja.

Previosuly, Sonakshi portrayed the rustic northern girl and will now be seen as a Bengali beauty. Sonakshi is apparently quite excited about the new project. Apart from Sonakshi, Jimmy Shergill is in the film. Sonakshi whose film Son Of Sardar is all set for release this Diwali, has reportedly left for Muscat to shoot Milan Luthria's Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Part 2 along with Akshay. Bullet Raja is being produced by Brandsmith Motion Pictures and as per reports, it will go on floors by November.
