It was recently revealed that despite undergoing surgery in the US for his Trigeminal neuralgia condition, Salman Khan is not fully cured. Due to this, doctors have prohibited him to do any more action sequences. Now this pretty much sent shock waves in the industry as each of his last six big successes, right from Wanted to Dabangg 2, have boasted of huge action.

In 2013, Salman to keep his promise with Radhey and Kick

"Salman has admitted that in order to keep his blood pressure in check, he has been advised against doing action sequences. However, in current scenario, he and action are synonymous to each other. Even during Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg 2, he was in quite some pain during heavy duty action sequences but continued to shoot for them", says a source.

However, Salman has himself declared that he continues to be keen on doing action sequences and it would be tough for him to stay away from them; more so since audience expects punches and kicks from him. While Sooraj Barjatya's next as well as Anees Bazmee's No Entry Mein Entry could be exceptions to this rule since they belong to drama and comic genre respectively, Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick cannot afford such luxury. As for the Sohail Khan directed affair, it isn't sure which way would it turn when it comes to action.

"There is utmost silence around the sheer genre of (tentatively titled) Radhey, leave aside the fact whether it would include action or not. There are contrasting reports coming out. While some believe it may be a hardcore love story with an element of action in it, as was the case in Tere Naam, others are vouching for the fact that it would have hardcore action", adds an observer.

On the other hand, as the very title suggests, Kick is a lot of about 'kicks', both in physical as well as metaphorical sense. "It is about this man who gets a kick of sorts whenever he takes any risks or challenges heads on", an insider comments, "The film just cannot do without action. Moreover, Sajid has huge plans for capturing the film's action sequences in countries as diverse as U.K. and Korea. A lot of groundwork has already been done."

It is now to be seen that in order to accommodate Salman's health worries, whether Sohail and Sajid would go a little slow on punches and instead include more high adrenalin chase and stunt sequences so that their lead superstar is not tired. Good news though is that Salman is undeterred and wishes to keep the promise made to his fans.
