Zeishan Quadri is an Indian writer and actor acclaimed for writing the story of Gangs of Wasseypur, directed by Anurag Kashyap. He has co-written the screenplay and dialogues of the film, and played one of the leads in Gangs of Wasseypur Part II.

Zeishan Quadri participated in some 50 auditions, and began writing a concept note for a film based on factual incidents taking place in Dhanbad. Zeishan Quadri, through Gangs of Wasseypur, brought the real story of the "coal mafia" gang war to the big screen.
