Reason behind Friendship Day.

Everyone celebrating friendship day in different styles, with multi colur bands, gifting cards etc etc.
Celebration is important for friendship, but one should understand the reason behind this. Some may know and many just not have any idea of this too.
There is a story behind to celebrate this day.

In 1935 The US police killed an innocent person & the very next day his friend died commiting suicide because of that.
And In his memory the American Government declared then to celebrate 1st sunday of august as FRIEDSHIP DAY .

Since then, celebration of National Friendship Day became an annual event.
Following the popularity and success of Friendship Day in US, several other countries adopted the tradition of dedicating a day to friends. Today, Friendship Day is enthusiastically celebrated by several countries

Every year; first Sunday of August is considered as a special day to CELEBRATE the ‘Bond of Friendship’ amongst friends, lovers and family members.

So friends celebrate it love your friends truly, understand them, and support them in any situation, be with them ever.
