Bombay-based unemployed slacker Kishore lives an impoverished lifestyle with his widowed mother and younger sister, Nimo. He is unable to secure any employment and instead falls in love with Meena Verma, the daughter of a scientist. Unknown to Kishore, Meena is soon to marry Ranjan, the only son of widower Ramlal, who is also funding scientific experiments carried out by heavily indebted Meena's father. When Ranjan finds out Meena has fallen in love with Kishore, he conspires with his father to discredit him. They put their plan into action which results in Kishore meeting with a lab-accident and turning into a destructive iron-man - alienating himself from everyone - including his very own mother and sister - as he sets about to injure and damage everyone and everything he comes in contact with.
