Saranya Mohan who began her career as a child artiste in Malayalam and known for her performance in Yaaradi Nee Mohini will soon been making her Bollywood debut with the remake of Director Susindran 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu'. The Hindi remake of the film is titled 'Badlapur Boys' in which Saranya has been paired opposite Nishan Nanaiah.

Produced by editor Muthu who has acquired the remake rights of film under the banner of Karrm Entertainment, the film will be directed Sailesh Verma. "She was also the lead heroine of ' Veenila Kabadi Kuzhu' so we decided on casting her and launching her in Bollywood, we are leaving no stones un-turned for this project," stated producer A Muthu.

Saranya played the female lead in the original version, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, in which she was paired opposite Vishnu, and the Telugu version too, Bheemli Kabadi Jattu, in which she was paired opposite Nani. ' Badlapur Boys' deals with a plot of social family romantic drama with sports as a backdrop. Saranya Mohan is known for her films like Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu and Azhagarsamiyin Kudirai.
