Rana Daggubati is an actor and producer, known for Leader (2010), Arrambam (2013) and Dum Maaro Dum (2011). Rana Daggubati was born on 14th December 1984 in Chennai. He is famous by the name Rana and has starred in many Indian films. He has also tried his hand at production. He is belongs to a family closely associated to Indian cinema and is the son of Suresh Babu Daggubati who is a famed film producer.

He came into the limelight for his love life. He was the boyfriend of the dusky bong beauty Bipasha Basu. But the relationship fizzled out and they parted ways. He first starred in the screen for Tollywood movie Leader. This took him to great heights and he tasted fame by winning the Best Male Debut in South by Filmfare.

In the year 2006 Rana produced his first film in Telugu Bommalata – A Bellyful of Dreams.
Rana has starred in the Hindi movie Dum Maaro Dum in which he won an award for the Best Debut by Zee Cine Awards.
