Power is the faculty or capacity to act, the strength andpotency to accomplish something. It is the vital energy to make choices anddecisions. It also includes the capacity to overcome deeply embedded habitsand to cultivate higher, more effective ones.
Themore adaptability exists for a given kind of decision, the less risky it isto make plans for the future, and therefore the more likely it is that morepeople will make more plans in such areas.
Undernormal conditions, most people tend to see what they want to see, hear what theywant to hear, and do what they want to do; in conflicts, their positionsbecome even more rigid and fixed.
