Gabbar is Back is an upcoming Hindi action drama film. Featuring Akshay Kumar in the title role, the film is a remake of 2002 Tamil film Ramanaa. Shruti Haasan, Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood and Nikitin Dheer will appear in supporting roles. The film is written by AR Murugadoss, directed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and co-produced by Shabinaa Khan. The film is slated to release on May 1, 2015.
