Mashooq is a love story between Karan (Ayub Khan) and Nisha (Ayesha Jhulka) amidst two warring family. Suman (Bina) falls in love with a middle class man Shankar (Kiran Kumar) but they are opposed by Suman's two elder brothers Kedarnath (Pran) and Sandeep. Sandeep is accidently killed by Shankar. Although Shankar goes scot-free, Kednarnath cannot forgive Shankar and he disowns Suman. Some years later, Shankar's younger brother Karan and Kedarnath's daughter Nisha come together as they are in the same college. They both fall in love. But will their love survive in front of the rivalry ...
