It ishard to change our point of view in a conflict. Most often, it is because weare not nearly as interested in resolving the conflict and possibly creatinga new ‘pearl’ as we are in being right.
We cannot always control our thoughts, but we can control our words, and repetitionimpresses the subconscious, and we are then master of the situation.
The means by which we live have outdistanced the ends forwhich we live. Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We haveguided missiles and misguided men.
You only have power over people so long as you don't takeeverything away from them. But when you've robbed a man of everything he's nolonger in your power he's free again.
