Shah Rukh Khan: I would like others to remake my films

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has acted in new versions of some mega hit Hindi movies of previous decades, wants others to remake his films. Shah Rukh has acted in Dilip Kumar's Devdas remake version helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The King Khan was then seen in 2006 remake of Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Don directed by Farhan Akhtar. "It is the director who brings a film to me. I just chose from what was offered to me.

Like it was Farhan Akhtar who felt I could be the new age Don and Sanjay Leela Bhansali felt I had depth in my eyes," Shah Rukh Khan told reporters at an event. "I may sound pompous but I would like others to remake my films. I would look forward to that....I think it would be great achievement," said Shah Rukh. SRK said he desires that everyone should remember him by his films and characters essayed by him.

"People call me Badshah, King of Bollywood, global icon, badtameez etc but I would want people to remember me... call me by the name of the characters that I play." "I would also love to be called papa...that is the best and coolest thing," the father of two added. Shah Rukh Khan was speaking at the launch of a special issue of Filmfare magazine - 'Collectors Edition Cover' to mark 100 years of Hindi cinema.

The 47-year-old actor said he was quite nervous while shooting for Mohabattein with Big B. "When I was shooting for Mohabattein, I remember I was very scared to do a film with Mr Bachchan...it was nerve-wrecking. He is a great man to open up a conversation. He is a knowledgeable man...I am sure if he participates in KBC (the quiz show hosted by the megastar) he will win," he added.
