Ministry of Labour officials and other dignitaries also attended the function. “There was huge crowd and we could not control them. The celebrities are quite popular with the Asian blue collar workers,” said an official from DM Healthcare. “The curious workers were watching the stars from top of their balconies and building terraces,” said the official. Access Clinic in Muhaisina 2 will provide primary healthcare services including general medicine, orthopedics, radiology and laboratory services. An Aster pharmacy is also opened adjacent to the clinic. The clinic will be open between 8am and 11pm on all days. It is tied up with all major insurance companies, as well. Corporate groups will have the benefits to avail Corporate HMO scheme with added benefits through the Corporate Relations Department.

This Clinic primarily targets the blue collar workers, who are the unsung heroes of the country, as well as people from the lower income strata of the society living in and around the area.” “We are continuing the initiative of setting up further Access Clinics in different locations, keeping in mind the importance of ensuring healthcare for all income groups in the Gulf. By the end of the year 2014, about 25 Access Clinics will be rolled out across the UAE, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait. We consider this as our commitment to the society during our silver jubilee celebration year,” he added. Dr. Moopen said, “Access Clinics network will include Ramla Mall in Dubai Investment Park (DIP), Deira Gold Souq and Nasr Square area, Jebel Ali Free Zone, Al Ghubaiba - Bur Dubai, Moroccan Cluster at International City, Al Quoz, and Al Muwailah Industrial area and Al Majaz in Sharjah.” “This model is a new way of structuring care. Since we launched the first Access Clinic last year, we have been receiving tremendous support and good reputation for introducing such an efficient healthcare system that cares for those in real need, providing them with the best quality medical care at the lowest possible cost. We do not compromise on service quality, while on the expansion mode,” he added.
