Internet was abuzz with speculations recently that Priyamani is roped in for a cameo in the Nayanthara starrer Anamika, remake of the Hindi hit Kahaani. Nayanthara will be seen reprising the role of Vidya Balan who played her role to wide critical acclaim. Priyamani, however, has rubbished the speculations as mere rumors by coming out clear that she was never offered a cameo in Anamika.

She also expressed surprise about where these rumors are cropping from. Priya will be seen shaking a leg with the badshah of Bollywood SRK in the Rohit Shetty starrer Chennai Express for an item number. Besides, her next Telugu movie Chandee will have her in a strong female-centric role.
