Kareena Kapoor Khan has emerged as the most adorable item queen of Bollywood. The actress, who made news with her hit exotic and naughty dance numbers in films like Dabangg 2, Heroine, Don, Billu and Agent Vinod will make another sensational appearance in an item song in Akshay Kumar's Gabbar. Kareena created an online frenzy of sorts when her new look from the song in Gabbar first appeared on the Internet. Donning a fuchsia crushed top revealing her toned midriff, teamed with denim jeans and long boots, Kareena looked every bit a stylish diva to take it by storm in her upcoming film.
Kareena makes a guest appearance in the item song in the film produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which has Akshay Kumar and Shruti Hassan in the lead. Kareena reportedly has acquired a lean look for the peppy dance number composed by Sajid Wajid for Gabbar . Fevicol Se in Dabangg 2, Yeh Mera Dil in Don, Naughty Jawani in Heroine and a modern mujra number Dil Mera Muft Ka in Agent Vinod, which had Kareena shaking a leg, have been huge hits in the past. Fevicol Se, the number she performed with Salman Khan in Dabangg 2, was meant to be her career's last item song. Post- marriage, Kareena had put forth an unofficial condition of not doing any more item numbers in films, however, producer
Bhansali reportedly convinced the actress for the dance number. And Kareena broke her no item- song policy for the sake of her long association with Bhansali. Gabbar is a big budget action drama film, made on a budget of ` 70 crore, and Bhansali wanted a strong glamour quotient in the film. Besides the item number in Gabbar, Kareena will also be appearing in Rohit Shetty's Singham 2 opposite Ajay Devgn. Kareena was last seen in Prakash Jha's Satyagraha, in which she played a journalist - and as a social worker in Punit Malhotra's dud Gori Tere Pyar Mein. Kareena Kapoor was offered to play the lead in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram- Leela, however, the 33- year- old actress rejected the role to star in Punit Malhotra's film opposite Imran Khan. Gabbar is scheduled for a February 2015 release.
