It indeed is a good sign for the world of cinema as those who belong to the region or a language are returning back to their language and roots to make films which they would not have been able to make in mainstream Hindi cinema. Shreyas Talpade is one such star who makes his debut as a producer in Marathi through POSHTER BOYZ. Shreyas Talpade may have been inspired by the successful debut of Riteish Deshmukh as a producer in Marathi cinema and following him he has chosen a real story as content for the film. Male virility as a matter of fact has been an issue that has been at the root cause of marital distress and wrongful ostracisation of the female in the society, though it is the male who is at the fault and one only hopes that the cinematic representation that POSHTER BOYZ is providing would help in changing world view on this aspect.

Creditably, both Riteish Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade as producers have not taken the off-beat path of film making but by choosing to focus upon matters pertaining to sex and related issues vexing the society are doing a great service to the society. Indian society after all still does not talk about sex, and if it is to be talked through the genre of humor, as it would be done through POSHTER BOYZ, it indeed is a creditable step forward and one only hopes that POSHTER BOYZ and BALAK PALAK are eventually available for viewing to general fans of cinema all across the country. After all, when Hollywood movies can be dubbed in all kinds of Indian languages, then why not a Marathi film, whose content is more in tune with the Indian psyche than a Hollywood film?
