Everyone knows the fact that Tabu is very choosy when it comes to selecting her roles. She only picks up roles that strike her at the very first reading of the script. And this time round, Tabu will be seen in director Bejoy Naimbiar's (the director of Shaitan) 'David'.

Tabu has a very important role in the film. Bejoy elaborated on the same during an interview, "I cannot talk about her role because if I do that I will end up telling the whole story. All I can say is that Tabu is playing a very quirky character."

Commenting on the script, he added, "I have also signed Sharvani, who will be romantically paired Vikram." The film is based on a gangster and will go on floors by the end of this month. Does this mean that Tabu's quirky character is that of a gangster? Well, let's wait and see what the out of the box thinking director has to serve to the audience, after his path breaking film Shaitan.
