Arjun Rampal showcased his evil side in Ra.one and garnered applause not only from critics but also the audience. Now, Arjun has been finalised to play the role of Pran in the remake of Zanjeer, to be directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

As per reports, Arjun’s look might not be exactly like Pran's in the original. Lakhia is very happy with Arjun’s entry; he feels he has the perfect body and look for the role. Arjun confirmed the news to a daily and said, “It’s a Zanjeer based in today’s times. Apoorva and I have a few ideas on my get up. We have discussed them and will shortly zero down on the final look.”

Arjun is very excited to play the veteran's role and is leaving no stone unturned to prepare for his role. He has seen the film thrice and plans to see it once again before starting the film.
