Salman Khan has rubbished rumors that he is a potential buyer of IPL team Deccan Chargers. Salman is not inclined to follow in the footsteps of his Bollywood contemporaries and buy an IPL team, like Shah Rukh Khan who owns Kolkata Knight Rider, Preity Zinta who owns Kings XI Punjab; and Shilpa Shetty, Rajasthan Royals.

Salman was responding to media reports that he has bid along with others for the Rs750 crore Hyderabad team that faces being scrapped if not funded. The auction was due in Chennai on September 13.
