Even our characters in the film don’t know what are zombies and what is happening with them,” he added. Co-produced by Saif Ali Khan, “Go Goa Gone” is about two friends, played by Kunal and Vir Das, who travel to Goa with another friend. Vir said physically it was a demanding project. “This was not a studio film, no air conditioners and all,” he said and added that most of the film was shot in the sea and the forest. “Everyday we would run in the forest, lie in a boat in the sea in intense heat. It was a physically very tough film,” Vir said. Co-directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., “Go Goa Gone” also stars Anand Tiwari, Puja Gupta and Saif and is slated for a May 10 release.
